c̓išaaʔatḥ Fall 2025 Workshop

The WAYK team returns to Port Alberni for a two-week visit in October 2025. This will be our fifth time joining the c̓išaaʔatḥ Adult Intensive Program as they add a new cohort to their program! The Adult Intensive Program is a part-time adult immersion program for learners of nuučaan̓uł, now in it’s fifth year. The program grows each year as a small cohort of new learners joins the group. By bringing many levels of learners together in their program, the c̓išaaʔatḥ team gives all program participants experience with teaching.

The WAYK team is excited to continue our work with the c̓išaaʔatḥ core team. We look forward to seeing the returning cohorts and meeting the new cohort of learners. Our goal is to provide grounding in the methodology for new participants, as well as continued and deeper support for returners.
