c̓išaaʔatḥ January 2025 Workshop

The WAYK team joins the c̓išaaʔatḥ Adult Intensive Program via Zoom for a four-day training in January 2025. The Adult Intensive Program is a part-time adult immersion program for learners of nuučaan̓uł, now in it’s fifth year. The program grows each year as a small cohort of new learners joins the group. By bringing many levels of learners together in their program, the c̓išaaʔatḥ team gives all program participants experience with teaching.

The WAYK team is excited to continue our work with the c̓išaaʔatḥ team. We look forward to seeing the returning cohorts and seeing the progress of the new cohort that joined in October 2024. This training will focus on language hunting, giving learners tools and strategies for immersion language elicitation. Guests from the Yuułuʔiłʔatḥ language program will join for this workshop.
