The WAYK team will visit with N̓səl̓xcin̓ language teachers and learners to provide a 5-day introductory WAYK workshop in partnership with the Okanagan Indian Band. Beyond an introduction to the essentials of WAYK, the workshop will focus on strategies for maintaining immersion in the classroom and during sessions with fluent speakers, as well as using WAYK Techniques to support existing curriculum and materials.
