Yuułuʔiłʔatḥ January 2025 Workshop

The WAYK team joins the Yuułuʔiłʔatḥ Adult Intensive Program via Zoom for a four-day training in January 2025.

The language team at Yuułuʔiłʔatḥ has been working since the Summer of 2024 to develop and pilot a part-time adult immersion program in nuučaan̓uł for their citizens. The YFN team has been collaborating closely with the team at c̓išaaʔatḥ Fist Nation over the past several years in an effort to model their new program on the Adult Intensive Program that is now in its 5th year at c̓išaaʔatḥ.

This training will build on the training with the c̓išaaʔatḥ Adult Intensive Program the previous week and will focus on language hunting, giving learners tools and strategies for immersion language elicitation.
