Yuułuʔiłʔatḥ March 2025 Workshop

The WAYK team joins the team at the Yuułuʔiłʔatḥ Department of Culture, Language & Heritage via Zoom for a four-day workshop in March 2025.

The language team at Yuułuʔiłʔatḥ has been working since the Summer of 2024 to develop and pilot a part-time adult immersion program in nuučaan̓uł for their citizens. The YFN team has been collaborating closely with the team at c̓išaaʔatḥ Fist Nation over the past several years in an effort to model their new program on the Adult Intensive Program that is now in its 5th year at c̓išaaʔatḥ.

This training will focus on preparing for the new cohort of learners scheduled to join the program in the falland utilizing sessions with fluent speakers to develop materials and curricula for this new cohort.
