W̱SÁNEĆ Introductory Workshop

The WAYK team will visit with SENĆOŦEN language teachers and learners to provide a 5-day introductory workshop in partnership with the W̱SÁNEĆ School Board. Beyond an introduction to the essentials of WAYK, the workshop will focus on strategies for immersion sessions, particularly those that might be useful for adult learners, both for participants in the SENĆOŦEN Master Apprentice program and in the adult language classes offered through the Saanich Adult Education Centre.
