Over the past 5 years we have been able to work alongside the growing language program that is continuing to thrive at the “Treehouse” at Gwa’sala ‘Nakwaxda’xw Nations. The Treehouse team has been hard at work creating and running their program and fostering language learners of Bak̓wa̱mk̓ala. The WAYK team has been able to join the Treehouse during 4 cohorts of the SFU Certificate program and 2 cohorts of the Diploma program as well as 2 Summer Language Intensives.
