The WAYK team returns to Tsleil-Waututh Nation in North Vancouver, BC for 10 weeks in the winter/spring of 2018 to partner with the TWN language department in their work with the hən̓q̓əmin̓əm̓ language.
The WAYK team will visit with SENĆOŦEN language teachers and learners to provide a 5-day introductory workshop in partnership with the W̱SÁNEĆ School Board. The WAYK team will visit with Songhees First Nation to provide a 6-day introductory workshop for their Lekwungen Language team. The workshop will be conducted over two weekends (Friday-Sunday) in early February. Participants are strongly encouraged to attend all six days of the workshop.
