Jay returns with his second video on “Me/mine, You/yours” with his Grandmother who speaks his heritage language, a dialect of Palestinian Arabic. Jay would love to learn it and has begun learning it using the WAYK method. Check out his first video if you haven’t already: “What is that?”.
We really can’t say enough how happy this makes us. Go forth and make videos with your grandparents’ languages, and keep your ancestral languages thriving!

Also, there’s a 3rd video, which is way more fun, because we actually play up to Want/Have/GiveTake. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g-VuiuBqZgU
I just blogged your other new video too!
Jay, I love the end of the video where your grandmother blanches a bit at signing “whose.” That sign might be a bit gendered…
These videos are so wonderful. They bring tears to my eyes to watch. Thank you Jay for going through the work of recording and editing these!
